Firefighters, on Tuesday of last week, were called to a severe fire in Shropshire which was used to be owned by former millionare Christopher Foster. His house at the time was owned by tax collectors because he owed money and was not allowed to move away.
On Friday firefighters had killed the blaze and could finally enter the house. The days leading up to this they had found the burnt out 4×4 and a few animals. The fire at that time was being treated as a arson. The charge of murder has been added to this list after the discoverery of 2 bodies within the burnt out mansion.
During the formal identification of the first body. Coroners have deduced that the body found was that of the Jilian Foster, the wife of Christopher, from her dental records. Although a startling discovery changed the situation into a murder investigation when a shot to the head of Jillian was found. This meant that she was shot before the fire engulfed her body. A second body was found in the house that is believed to be that of a adult man. The daughter, Kirstie Foster, is still missing. With prayers being said in the community hoping that her life is not indeed over.
A rifle has been recovered from the house, the rifle is known to be legitimately owned by Mr Foster, the rifle was found near the 2 bodies along with the body of another dog. Rifle cartridges were found scattered around the whole estate with post-mortem examinations confirming that the animals in the stables were shot before the fire broke out on Tuesday.
