A lady has been sentenced to six months in prison today for stealing money; After being caught by a camera fitted in a teddy bear.
Emma Sampson and her father Robert decided to purchase a small camera from a local DIY store after noticing that £40 had gone missing from his mother Thelma’s purse. The pair noticed that the camera lens looked like that of the eye of a teddy bear, so fitted it in one.
They caught Thelma’s carer in the act, stealing £60, and passed the footage on to police.
